OUR GUARDS
We strongly believe that our guards are the backbone and therefore their performance and personality reflect upon our Standards. To ensure that the guards match up to the high Standards in quality, all our guards have to undergo a selection process where they are screened for their qualities of intelligence, interest, courtesy, integrity and motivation and individuals who can operate under stressful situation and communicate well.
TRAINING FACILITIES
We have established Training School in Kolkata manned by ex-Defence officers imparting basic training to the newly recruited guards. In addition, we have full-fledged Training Academy handled by ex army Officer at Bihar to meet the requirements of operations. Our main subject of training includes Basic Training on security, Guests Handling, Reception and Telephone related duties, Industrial Security, Fire fighting and prevention, handling of contingencies and crisis management etc. Refresher training of one to two days is also organized for the experienced security personnel. On the job training is however inbuilt.
UNIFORM
Shoes Black Oxford Pattern, Black Trousers, Sky blue Shirt with Logo, Lanyard with Whistle, Cap with badge, Red & black Scarf, Shoulder title, Personal Identity Card with colored photograph. An option of CEREMONIAL uniform is given according to clients requirement to add color on special Occasions. This includes a red sash, KAMARBAND, white anklets and batons color. EXISTENCE OF TECHNICAL SYSTEMS DIVISION
KSSPL is equipped with independent Technical Systems Division to meet client’s technical requirements like Electronic Access Control Systems, CCTV and Surveillance System, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm systems, Sprinklers systems, PA Systems etc. We have been providing total solutions at single window, to meet the requirements of the clients.
SURPRISE INSPECTION
To ensure high degree of alertness, a system of surprise checks has been instituted. Kedar systems Services Pvt. Ltd. of Internal Audit are directly under Vice President (Ops) and General Manager (Ops) of the region, who ensure prompt action for smooth functioning. Manager Operations check all posts of their zones at least twice in a week.
SUPERVISION
KSSPL takes pride in having a Sophisticated Internal Monitoring Systems (SIMS). We have a dedicated force of field Supervisors who carry out checking of all posts 5 to 7 times a week, including night checking. Supervisors render a regular report on the performance of each post.
ROTATION OF GUARDS
To preclude the possibility of complacency and avoid over familiarization, the guards are rotated on regular basis. However, in case of specific request from the client, a guard may be permitted to continue over the stipulated time.
OUR STANDARDS
We as a policy do not supply guards at random. We insist that they should be inducted as a viable team after Security Survey/Audit. We pay the best salaries in the industry and follow all statutory norms of the State governments. Individual dossier of each guard is maintained at our Head Office with the zonal Managers and performance reviewed fortnightly.
